To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The
oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of
heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting
of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” - Isaiah 61:3
Garment of praise is a divine gift given to put an end to heaviness of
heart in your life. The heaviness of your heart does not delight heaven.
Until your heart rejoices in the Lord, heaven will not regard your
service, sacrifice or supplication.
Before you appear before the throne of grace, see that you are girdled
with the garment of praise; lest, you will be denied access to God's
throne of grace. Why? The Bible says enter His gates with thanksgiving;
come into His court with praise. A man who is not girdled with the
garment of praise is neither fit to appear before God nor gather with
the saints in the general assembly.
Have you lost your garment of praise because of delays, disappointment
and discouragement? Arise today! Put on strength and be decked as the
bride of the Lord, who comes before her Bridegroom. A bride doesn't
forget her wedding gown at home on the day of her wedding. So let
nothing whatsoever make you forget your garment of praise behind you
when God expects to see you in the front-line to celebrate His
excellence.
May the devil and the pleasure of sin not rob you of your garment of praise in Jesus name.
