greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of

The crave for money and fame can easily get a man into the grave of shame and destruction. In the case of Balaam, a seer who had access to the visions of God, his uncontrolled desire to attain a wealthy status made Him attract the wrath of God.
Balaam acted against the word of the Lord and orchestrated the fall of Israel to sin against God. A greedy man will bring curse instead of blessings on his household. A renowned man of God said, "Giving is a proof that you have conquered greed".
If you are being controlled by inordinate desire for fame, pleasure and material possessions, watch it! The danger and damage inherent in it outweighs its gain. Remember the word of the Lord when He said: “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses" (Luke 12:15).May the Lord help you combine godliness with contentment, which is of a great gain in the sight of the Lord, in Jesus name.
