HUNGER FOR GOD

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. - Matt 5:6

Without having a hunger for God, you will rather be chasing after left overs when you could be enjoying the freshness of heaven. A man who hungers for God pants for continuous refreshing. He drinks constantly from the well of salvation. He feeds daily at the word of life. Unconditionally, he enters into God's throne room with praises.

The psalmist says, "As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul longs after You..." If your soul chooses to chase after material things, that means the Kingdom is not material to you; that means you have discounted the worth of the Kingdom for pleasure.

If you are growing lean in your soul, consider seeking the knowledge of God to enrich your heart. The hunger for God makes you a daily digger of the hidden mysteries of God. When you pursue and chase after God, the blessings of God will pursue and overtake you. May your heart pant and chase after God all the days of your life for continuous overflow of His goodness in your life in Jesus name.
