CHERISH THE CROSS

For the story and message of the cross is sheer absurdity and folly to those who are perishing and on their way to perdition, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God – I Cor. 1:18

If you don’t cherish the Cross of Christ, you will never know how rich you can become. The Cross is a place of discovery, recovery and revelation of the riches of Christ. It is also the divine spot to erase every spot of sin and trace of shame out of your life. The closer you are to the Cross of Christ, the more your negatives becomes glorious positives.

The Cross of Christ is not only a picture of the suffering of Christ but a place of divine dispenser of the offerings and wonders of salvation: peace, love, joy and other spiritual benefits and virtues. Instead of cherishing the Cross of Christ, many are overtaken by ungodly pleasure. They swim in the ocean of destructive waters and are either unaware or refuse to take heed that it leads to the lake of unending fire.

The gift of salvation is free to all mankind but many choose to freeze their hearts from receiving it, just because they are overwhelmed with the breeze and bliss of worldly pleasure. Jesus invites you today. Open your heart and be filled with the wonders of His love, which He demonstrated on the Cross of Calvary. Pray with me, “Lord, draw me nearer and nearer to the Cross, to put a divine full stop to every trace of sin in my life, in Jesus name. Amen.”
