"How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him." - Acts 10:38
Oppression, depression and obsession are some of the means by which the devil could darken and frustrate the life of a man. Through the operations of demons, many are down cast, broken in their spirit and are unconsciously overtaken by interest in ungodly acts.
The devil wants you to exchange your joy for sorrow. That's why you must be on your guard and under the overwhelming influence of the Holy Spirit. If you are not fervent and watchful unto prayer, the devil could find an opening through which he could oppress you.
If you constantly find yourself expressing bitterness, envy, unforgiving spirit, hatred, anger, dull spirit or taking up interest in beholding ungodly scene or practising destructive habits; you need the touch of God. The hand of the Lord through the working of the Holy Spirit will deliver you and lighten up your life.
Are you being afflicted or overtaken by any of the above habits, tell it to Jesus. He has the power to liberate your soul. His word will dislodge every darkness and deposit of the devil in your life in Jesus name. May you experience the touch of Heaven for all round liberty in every area of your life.
