“Above all, take up the shield of faith, upon which you can
quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked” – Eph. 6:16
A Christian soldier cannot run
the Kingdom race without being fully equipped with the armor of God. And one of
the formidable weapons of warfare you need as a Christian is the shield of
faith. Faith is the wisdom key and supernatural force that helps you to subdue
the spirit of fear in the face of a frightening battle against the forces of
hell.
The shield of faith makes you
appear battle-field against the devil. Whenever you put on the shield of faith,
retreating, withdrawing or turning backwards from the battle-field is not an
option otherwise you end up auctioning your place of victory. The shield of
faith helps you to confront the devil without losing confidence in the power of
God.
If you hide your shield of
faith when confronted with the challenges of life, you will be shredded apart
and pierced with sorrow. Therefore, rise up with your shield of faith to dare
and scare the devil. The shield of faith doesn’t just help you to defend
yourself from the arrows of the enemy but also to contend against the devil with
fierceness and firmness in order to weaken and frustrate his devices. I pray
you heart become strengthened with faith to discomfit and silence every
situation harassing your divine identity in Jesus name. Amen.
