“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” – Matthew 11:12
You don’t have to be grammatically endowed to subdue the devil. The devil is not vulnerable to physical attack and cannot be endangered by a prayer-less Christian. However, the devil recognizes and trembles at a Christian who confronts him with the violence that is fueled powered through the use of spiritual weapons of warfare. But a Christian who doesn’t understand spiritual warfare and thinks Christianity is merely fun-fare is highly vulnerable to depression, oppression and suppression of the devil.
Instead of allowing the devil to occupy a domineering seat over the affairs of your life and to rob you of your kingdom birthright, you must be decisive enough to resist him wholeheartedly. Many Christians have been shortchanged of their divine placement in life and are counting their losses because they are afraid of the devil. Until the devil understands that he is in trouble through your persistent spiritual violence and confrontations, he will graciously withhold whatsoever he has stolen in your life through your sin or spiritual negligence.
While riding on the instruction of the Lord, David pursued the Amalekites who invaded his territory and parted way with valuables, effects and immediate family members. Instead of allowing discouragement to overwhelm his soul, he rose up with a violent spirit and was engulfed with the mission to recover every lost possession.  At the end, David pursued, overtook and recovered all that the Amalekites took away from him and his company.
Don’t be afraid of the devil because the living God you serve, if you really do, is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. With God on your side, the devil cannot decide and preside over your destiny, to make you destitute and desolate. I pray every kingdom birthright that you have lost to the devil through sin and negligence shall be restored back to you in Jesus name.
