BRIGHT INSIGHT

By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints – Eph. 1:18

Poor spiritual visibility hinders a man from possessing God’s provision for his life. When the understanding of a man is darkened, his mental faculty will not discern opportunities and embrace challenges. He will not listen to reason and exercise good judgment. Succeeding on the job or in your profession requires the exercise of sound judgment. Therefore, a man whose faculty of sight is impaired magnifies the problems that besiege him beyond measure and cooks up excuse for his failure.

Joseph was a man who possessed an outstanding attribute that enabled him to bring huge tribute to the treasury of Egypt. Egypt would have had the course to run up against dwindling treasury and nation-wide destitution, had Joseph no bright insight and understanding of the predicament of dryness, scarcity and starvation that would have ravaged the land.

You need an understanding heart to unearth the imminence of dangers, risks and threats that may be lurking around your territory, and to hash out the game plan that will enable you to keep the threats at bay. For you not to suffer the torment of fear, frustration and failure, your eyes of understanding must be enlightened. Therefore, I pray God enlighten your eyes of understanding to bring you into favour, seasons of flourishing and showers of blessings, just as you go this week in Jesus name.
