GOD IS NOT SLACK

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance – 2 Peter 3:9

The redemption of souls is topmost on God’s agenda, in a conscious bid to frustrate the mission of the devil and to depopulate hell. God understands that the devil is not slack in pursuing his mission to kill, steal and destroy. He cannot afford to see you short-changed by the devil of your divine and eternal heritage. He also understands that the sinner that sins shall die. Therefore, to prove that He is not slack in His redemptive programme, He decided not to spare His Son, for the global salvation of souls.

The Bible did not leave us in the dark about the imminent passing away of this present world. Many people are living in illusion thinking that there is no life after this life. Many have made mockery of the Second Coming of the Lord, asserting that it is history. Jesus had said that He is coming back again. He had mentioned in the Scripture that He had gone to prepare a place for His Church.

Don’t misconstrue God’s generosity to delay His Second Coming as an allowance to wallow in worldliness and ungodly living. It is meant to be seen as a divine allowance to amend your ways, so you could escape the day of doom that awaits those who despise the message of the Cross and those who choose to indulge themselves in worldly pleasure. May the Lord not disqualify you as you remain relentless in the race towards the Heavenly Jerusalem in Jesus name.
