Overcoming the devil is a function of your knowledge and understanding of the word of God. Becoming a victorious Christian requires you to be spiritually intelligent. This means that the battle against the devil is won on the platform of spiritual and not on physical intelligence. Jesus knocked down the devil because of His spiritual and supernatural intelligence.

If you can tell the devil what is written, how it is written, why it is written and display faith in what is written as God’s word, he will cover his face with shame, salute your intelligence and distance himself from you. Because many Christians feast their eyes on junks and saturate their hearts with heresies and unscriptural doctrine, the devil keep them destitute in the jungle of life in lieu of flourishing in the garden of divine freshness and satisfaction.

To resist the devil from corrupting and adulterating your heart, knuckle down to study the word of God. If you will build and fortify your knowledge of the word of God, the devil’s schemes to make nonsense of your royalty and peculiarity as a child of God will be frustrated. I pray: May the Lord give you a devouring hunger for His word, to enable stop the mouth of destiny devourers and to live a victorious life in Jesus name.
