A LIVING SACRIFICE

I APPEAL to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service and spiritual worship. - Romans 12:1

Anyone who wants to follow after Jesus must be willing and ready to make sacrifices. You cannot mingle worldliness with godliness and become God’s favourite. You cannot get some worldly refreshment and entertainment and also be divinely refreshed with the power of God, to do exploit.

Many Christians find it difficult to put off the old man, the Adamic nature. When some ungodly attitude appeals to you and are considered not too bad, it's a sign that you are not conscious of the reality of heaven and that you are lacking in the understanding of the danger that awaits every ungodliness.

Contrary to popular belief, Christianity is not an old school way of worship, because God is neither old school nor new school. He is the only School that teaches and empowers you with the wisdom to live a triumphant and prosperous life, to enable you end up in eternity with Him without paying a tuition fee.

Only if you will obey and separate yourself from ungodly fashion, inordinate passion for things and from every ungodly addiction and to begin to pursue God’s kingdom with passion, you will certainly have a mansion in heaven when the saints of God are matching into God’s Kingdom. May you not sacrifice your divine heritage in heaven on the altar of careless and ungodly living in Jesus name.
