TAKING THE FIRST STEP

Now four men who were lepers were at the entrance of the city's gate; and they said to one another, Why do we sit here until we die? 2 Kings 7:3

It is not untrue that the first step is always the hardest. Inspiration breakfast wouldn’t have seen the light of day if the writer hadn’t taken the first step. Taking the first step helps you to conquer every form of fear that may want to hold you back.

Many destinies are trapped in obscurity because of the failure to take the first step towards the pursuit of purpose. Taking the first step breaks you off the chain of limitation amd doubt about your ability to accomplish great result. You need to understand that a door is either shut or open. That is, as a matter of course, you either go forward or remain stagnant.

Four lepers found themselves between the devil and the deep blue see. They were in a quandry about what to do in the midst of the severe famine that besieged the land of Samaria. They either remain at the gate of Samaria and die of hunger or enter the camp of the Syrians and risk being killed by the Syrians. In the end, they resolved to stick their neck out and enter into the camp of the Syrians. Their impulsion and resolution paved way for the termination of famine in Samaria. So don’t put your destiny on the back burner when you should be soaring high. May the Lord give you the courage to take a giant leap towards the pursuit of your goals and dreams in Jesus name.
