And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, Protect and defend and give me justice against my adversary. - Luke 18:3
There is no glory or commendation for anyone who drops by the wayside without bouncing back into action. You cannot allege weariness as the rationale for opting out of the race towards your goals in life when you are almost at the finishing line.
If at first you don't succeed, try again and again. It is unrewarding to stop asking because your first attempt to petition heaven did not yield result. You might want to take a leaf from the book of Hannah. Year in year out, she was at Shiloh to reason with God and remind Him of His covenant of fruitfulness and multiplication. In the end, Hannah became a joyful mother of children on the strength of her persistent faith in the God of Israel.
The widow who wanted the evil judge to avenge her case got her pleadings granted and treated without denial because of her persistence. She demonstrated persistence until she got what she wanted. It is early in the day to throw in the towel in the wake of repeated failed attempts. Dont hit the brakes now. Persevere to get to the finishing line while you jettison every discouragement and doubt. May you not have reasons to kick yourself for drawing back or opting out of the race leading to abundant life in Jesus name
