But those who wait for the Lord shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up as eagles; they shall run and not be weary… - Isaiah 40:31
Running gives you a better pace than walking. Running helps you to pull out all the stops and hasten up the achievement of your dream. In all probability, one could be slowed down and distracted in the race of life. But you just have to keep your eyes on the ball if you want to finish strong.
When you stop running towards your goal, you run the risk of undermining your potential. You may jeopardise your sporting chance of winning through and sailing through hurdles and barriers, if you retire from the race that is set before you. Therefore, screw up your courage and strength, so you could get to the finishing line and feel on top of the world upon your accomplishment.
To run tirelessly, you need constant and daily renewal of your strength. Flesh and blood may not guarantee you the vigor to stand firm and strong in tough times, when the going goes tough. Therefore, before you enter the field of events, you need to fellowship with God; wait upon Him just as the eagle waits for the wind before it begins to soar. When you begin each day with God, He will straighten the rough pathways ahead of you. He will revive you when many decide to retire. May you run and never be weary till you reach your goal in Jesus name.
