Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, - I Peter 2:2
Before you can deliver on major projects or tasks, you must have demonstrated competence in handling minor tasks. No one gains mastery of a skill or an aspect of knowledge in the twinkling of an eye. It buttresses the fact that we must learn to walk but we can run. For all practical purposes, you need to first cut your teeth on simple task before embarking on a more eventful task.
Every new species in God’s kingdom must aspire to grow from childhood to adulthood. In order words, there is no justification to remain an infant in God’s kingdom when you have everything at your disposal to become a spiritual giant. You need to understand that God’s kingdom is not a kindergarten for warehousing retarded babies but a spiritual garden for nurturing spiritual giants. However, before you can become a spiritual giant, you must desire earnestly the sincere milk of the word of God.
He who would climb the ladder must begin at the bottom. So you need to take the first step; master the act of walking. As you progress in feasting your eyes on the word of God, you become stronger and better equipped for greater tasks ahead. Successful people understand that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. So keep walking. Seize every opportunity to apply yourself profitably. In no distant time, you will be running and aspiring to reach for the sky. May the Lord give you the thirst to apply your heart to the enriching word of God, for continuous transformation from glory to glory in Jesus name.
