But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear. - Isaiah 59:2
It is a sheer waste of destiny to be wedded to a life of ungodliness while the last days are in sight. In addittion, it is ming-boggling to know that many Christians don’t know where to draw the line between godliness and worldliness. Therefore, they shuttle between gratifying the desires of the flesh and struggling to live a life pleasing to God.
In the context of living a sacrificial life, God does not endorse fellowship between light and darkness. The rationale for this is that iniquity has no connection point with purity. Sin is the ultimate disconnector between God and man. It disconnects man from the Trinity. It keeps man at a distance from God and from accesing the inheritance He has earmarked for man.
When the light of God shines upon you, in retrospect, you will defer to the assertion that a man without God is like a loaf of bread in the hands of the devil. This accounts for why you cannot afford to hang on in granting Jesus a place in your heart. Because life is short and time is swift, a little delay may deny you of the inclusion of your name in the Book of Life. Talk to God as you willingly accept His Lordship; as the Saviour of your soul, if you haven’t done so or if you want to rededicate yourself to Him for a new beginning. His mercy still abounds.
