None of the rulers of this age or world perceived and recognized and understood this, for if they had, they would never have crucified the Lord of glory – I Cor. 2:8
Being knowledgeable keeps you on track and makes you to stand a good stead over ignorance. Knowledge helps you to know where to draw the line between excellence and mediocrity. With the right knowledge you stand a better chance of striding towards the achievement of your goals.
If you could see the glory that awaits you at the end of the road, you will continue to keep to the straight and narrow. Your pursuits will be well aligned to keep you at bay from the risk and trauma of fishing in troubled waters. If the truth were known and embraced, many discontented people wouldn’t have opted for those things that would dampen their spirit and upset the plan of God for their lives.
The Jews crucified Christ, the King of Glory, on the grounds of ignorance. The Bible unveiled that if they had known, they wouldn’t have crucified their Messiah. They allowed ignorance to take hold of them; therefore, their deeds were nothing short of the display of foolishness. Because the mode of conception of Jesus did not sit well with their ideology of the promised and long-awaited Messiah, they acted in ignorance to crucify Jesus. Hence, I pray God endow you with knowledge that will make you flourish and not to frustrate the plan of God for your life in Jesus name.
