KEEPING ON TRACK

To take the place in this ministry and receive the position of an apostle, from which Judas fell away and went astray to go [where he belonged] to his own [proper] place. - Acts 1:25

For you to accomplish your goals to a flourishing finish, you must be willing and determined to keep on the track. A runner who is not disciplined but often gets sidetracked goes nowhere. His progress will be impaired by the multitude of distractions he entertains. If you are resolved to be focused without giving allowance for distractions, getting to the finishing line will not amount to a struggle of the death.

In your pursuit to live up to your goals, you must have a clearly defined set of goals that will propel you to swing into action. Once you hit the road, you can't avoid to be swaying back and forth as one running off in all directions. Therefore, it is not untrue that anyone who cannot identify his mission in life and the goals to strive after, may end up running aimless. This will only add up to a life of bitterness and such fellow will be left to reap the harvest of fruitlessness.

Whenever you are besieged by imaginations and thoughts that may likely slow you down or make you jump the track, you must learn to say, “No”, otherwise, you lose your hope and chance of realizing your dreams. Judas Iscariot could have ended up as one of the prime movers of the apostolic age. Greed took hold of him. He jumped at the offer of inordinate passion for wealth. In the end, his apostleship was taken over by someone else. Had he followed Jesus all the way in all good conscience, he wouldn’t have brought reproach upon himself. Therefore, I pray the Lord endow you with the grace to keep your eye on the ball, so you could reap the harvest of fulfillment and all round accomplishment in Jesus name.
