BEING PROACTIVE GETS YOU PRODUCTIVE

Take a lesson from the ants, you lazy fellow. Learn from their ways and be wise! 7 For though they have no king to make them work, 8 yet they labor hard all summer, gathering food for the winter. 9 But you—all you do is sleep – Prov. 6:6-9

It bears mentioning that a proactive approach to life gets you ahead of time. You will get bogged down with backlog of tasks if you always choose to be reactive. For you to get ahead, you must be able to see ahead. Seeing the big picture enables you to sort out tasks before they become over-due and burdensome. If you choose to drag your feet and allow time to slip by while you should be soiling your hands to deliver on schedule, you will of course fall short of expectations.

Being proactive gets you ahead and gives you time to catch your breath while reactive people run from pillar to post. It affords you the opportunity to think clearly and achieve maximum results. For you to be proactive, you need the right attitude, faculty of sight to see ahead and predict likely events that could occur in a best or worse case scenarios and the will to pursue the best course of action. It goes without saying that if you are proactive, you will be on track to achieve your goals in spades.

The ant is a wise specie of the animal kingdom that appreciates the significant of being proactive. While in summer, the ant goes hunting and gathering its food, for storage. This explains why the ant will never be hard up for nourishment in the winter. This reveals that you will be shortchanging yourself if you relax while you ought to be at the climax of a challenge or task. The ant is always at the top of its game and would not have reasons to complain of starvation. Being proactive helps you to close the door to the grip of frustration, failure and loss of focus. May your mind and sight be powered to become proactive and not reactive to things in Jesus name.
