As He passed along, He noticed a man blind from his birth. His disciples asked Him, Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he should be born blind? – John 9:1-2
You cannot afford be clueless about the purpose of God for your life. The question about the purpose of God for your life is the sixty-four dollar question that requires answer in a split second. If you don’t enquire earnestly about the purpose of God for your life, you may end up living a life that is secondary to the plan of God for your life. In all probability, a man who is beclouded from discovering the purpose of God for his life will find himself going around in circles. Therefore, you need to earnestly enquire about the purpose of God for your life, so you don’t grope in darkness while you ought to be glowing with the glory of God.
There are many mysteries in the life of men that should be unraveled lest the purpose of their existence will be subjected to interpretations and explanations that are divergent from the ultimate mandate of God. For instance, the challenges you are going through should not be interpreted as an act of wickedness by God or attributed to His weakness to deliver you but could probably be interpreted as God’s way to make your life a wonder or an amazement.
The man who was born blind in John 9 was a typical example of a being whose birth drew attention with diverse questions. At his birth, his parents must have been besieged with diverse questions. Many would have jumped to conclusions that the nature of his birth could only be tied to his parents’ wickedness. Even the Disciples of Christ were clueless and were left only to hazard a guess about the rationale for his blindness. But when the question was thrown at Jesus, His answer blew them away. They were all agog. Were his parent around when Jesus was fielding questions from His Disciples, his parents would have been lost for words. Jesus’ answer was that his birth was orchestrated to allow God’s glory to be made manifest in his life and not a question of who might have sinned.
As you make earnest enquiry from the Spirit of the Lord about the purpose of God for your life, may He open your faculty of sight to see and understand His agenda which He had calendared for execution at the right time in your life, in Jesus name
