Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God - Matt. 5:9
There are no courts of arbitration in heaven for God to arbitrate in cases of hostility between His people. People that assume that their strife with their fellow Christians will be decided in heaven are living in an ivory tower. God does not entertain trouble-makers and truce-breakers in heaven, partly because the mansions and streets of heaven were not constructed for protesters or for hosting people with unforgiving spirit. However, people that are eager about buying trouble end up reaping the harvest of calamity and would have their part in the torment of hell if they fail to repent.
People who are keen about making it hot for their next-door neighbours lack the milk of human kindness. And those who set people against each other are not ambassadors of Christ but must be counted as campaigners of the cause of the devil. As a true ambassador of Christ, part of your divine mandate is to follow peace with all men and pursue it passionately. Then will your mind become peaceful with a conscience void of offence towards God and man.
It is not untrue that people that are profiled as troubleshooters are usually pillar of strength to those who are troubled on the inside. Their hearts are springs of life that put a stop to the flow of turbulence in the lives of men. They quench the raging fire of cruelty and hostility that burns in the heart of the sons of men. They are dead opposed to division while they champion the cause of unity. Anyone who is a peacemaker cannot double as a truce-breaker. It goes against the grain for someone who has a golden reputation for making peace to incite violence. They are rather committed to the healthy and peaceful co-existence of the son of men.
You cannot build a healthy relationship if your words incite violence either domestic, emotional or other forms of violence. If you are not in good speaking terms with your friends and colleagues, you will be powering your heart with the spirit of hatred and hostility. Hence, resolve to pursue peace with all men. You’ve got nothing to profit by living worlds apart from your family, friends and fellow men whom God has ordained on your pathway to fulfilling your destiny. I pray the Lord make your life the reason for the peace in the hearts and household of the sons of men in Jesus name
