ON THE WINGS OF GRACE

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. – I Cor. 15:10

Nothing significant can be accomplished by mere human effort without divine enabling grace. The Bible says, “For by strength shall no man prevail” (I Sam. 2:9). Therefore, it is God’s grace that gives you the upper hand when men are struggling along under excruciating pains to fulfill their destinies. Grace is the distinguishing factor that makes you ascend to the mountain top while others are crowded in the valley. Hence, you need the grace of God for your flight to stardom, so you could reach the high point in your life, career, ministry, profession or calling without toiling under hard labour. When the grace of God meets with your preparation for a glorious destiny, the result is exceedingly heart-warming.

Therefore, the key to put a stop to a life of fruitless labour is to soar on the wings of grace. Grace enables your labour to emerge with flying colours. Where people fall from God’s grace, they lose their divine placement in the scheme of things. It is very disheartening to fall short of the grace of God. Because some people are made beneficiaries of the manifold grace of God, they allow it to get to their heads; hence, they begin to swell with pride. When you are on the wings of graces and are soaring high altitude among people that are ranked as eagles in the sight of the Lord, it is irrational to despise others who might be way below your achievement.

The moment you understand that God desires to take you much higher than you could imagine, you need to keep your ego in check otherwise you may be checked out of the eagles’ flight. Also, while on the wings of grace, you must allow God to take the stage – let Him be your prime focus. Don’t become overwhelmed and distracted by inordinate affection that will take you nowhere. Bear in mind that in your journey to attain greatness untold, there are diverse heights to soar to. Hence, you cannot afford to be put up short in the journey to your high point and crash to the basement. I pray the Lord help you to embark on the eagles’ flight and to keep you soaring until you reach your high point of great accomplishment in Jesus name
