GOAL PURSUIT - THE POWER TO MAKE A MOVE

So Abram departed,  as the Lord had directed him,  and Lot,  his nephew, went with him...  -  Gen 12:4

Abraham wouldn't have left his father's if he didn't experience an encounter with God.  The Lord God made him to see the master plan for his life and triggered his drive to run with it.  So God instructed Abraham to be on the move. Abraham knew it was his turn to make a move after God had unveiled His plan for him. So Abraham throw himself into the pursuit of God's plan for his life and was in desperate search for a city which maker and builder is God.

Whenever you are in pursuit of a goal, you need to REMOVE every obstacle to your advancement. Abraham allowed his journey to the land of Promise to inch along because he took Lot with him. Until he separated himself from Lot, his journey was fraught with much hitch and strife. In the second place, the pursuit of your goal helps you to REFIRE and not retire until you get to the finishing line. Abraham had a goal. So he pressed hard to reach his divine destination. If you are yet to reach your goal, it will be inappropriate for you to sign off now.

The secret of getting ahead with your goal without being weary is to REST on God and rely on Him for grace to finish strong. The Bible says that those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength and when the run,  they shall not be weary. When you rest on God and draw strength from His throne, you will keep on persevering in the pursuit of your goal till you actualize your potential. May you never be stagnated or static as you give evidence of your readiness to pursue your dreams with maximum impact in Jesus name.
