Recently, I woke up with a
terrifying revelation of hell, which boggles my mind. It registered with me afresh
that a life without Christ is an embodiment of endless excruciating sorrow. While
everything may seem pleasant, the pleasure of many will soon be turned into
unending pain because they despise the pursuit of the Kingdom of God and its
righteousness. The aftermath of sinful living exceedingly supersedes the pain
of partaking in the suffering of Christ. The suffering of Christ requires that
you carry your cross daily and follow Jesus without turning back. There are
many dangers and afflictions on the road to holiness but there is assurance of
righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost for those who journey therein.
In the revelation given to me,
the sons of men were pierced with hot irons and the irons were used to make
haphazard marks on their bodies while they scream with excruciating pain. This
is the offshoot of a life wedded to please the devil and gratify the desires of
the flesh. One of the consequences of sin is operating under a CLOSED HEAVEN or
CLOSED DOOR of MERCY. The moment God refuses to entertain your prayer request,
it’s could be a sign that your cup of iniquity has overflown to disqualify you
from obtaining mercy from the Lord. King Saul is a biblical reference and many
who having tasted of God’s grace and heavenly gifts and thereafter turned back
to crucify Jesus the second time.
A sinful life also leads to
outright CONDEMNATION. Anyone who is condemned is like a flower trapped on the
ground and despised by God. Such a person could also be likened to a grass that
withers while no one cares to water it. When God despises and disapproves of a
man, who would be his advocate to press charges against God for his
justification. The most damning consequence of sin is to be enlisted as an
irrevocable CANDIDATE of HELL. It may sound incredible that some have resolved
in their minds to be make hell their eternal habitation. Some people operate in
the falsehood that while they kill others as a proof of their zeal for offering
service to God, they have a place in heaven. Some commit suicide considering it
a shortcut to gain entrance into heaven but find their place in the torment of
hell. Today, I ask, “Which side of the divide are you?” If you are not on the
Lord’s side, why not decide for Jesus today, to preside over the affairs of
your life and you will never remain the same. May you not end up in the
horrible pit of hell as you live for Jesus henceforth, in Jesus name
