LEADERS ASK THE RIGHT QUESTION BEFORE SEEKING THE RIGHT SOLUTION

"Where have you laid him?" he asked. "Come and see, Lord," they replied – John 11:34

People who pose the wrong question most likely attract the wrong response and may likely get their heads spin. Being fed with the wrong information wouldn’t help you to make an informed decision and may trigger you to go off course. When David emerged on the scene of the battle of the Israelites army against Goliath, he was despised by his brothers while they asked him whether he had come to see the battle. They never knew that he was the one who had the key to bring Goliath down to defeat. So, they failed to enquire wisely and allowed their foolishness to impair their faculty of sight.
However, when leaders ask the right questions, they are most likely to GET THE RIGHT RESPONSE. When Jesus got to the tomb of Lazarus, He asked where he was laid. And the people showed Him where the dead was buried. This reveals that before a problem could be solved, the root cause must be identified rather than going around in circles. Also, when leaders ask the right question, they begin to GET A HANDLE OF THE REAL PROBLEM. Identifying the real problem helps leaders to begin to diagnose it with a view to understanding it and proffering the right solutions.
Leaders cannot successfully think or grind out a solution to problem except they enquire wisely. Hence, making wise enquiry helps leaders to GRIND OUT SOLUTIONS TO PROBLEMS. When leaders gather facts and figures about a problem subsequent to wise enquiry, they begin to put two and two together and come up with a solution that adds up. However, when the right questions are not asked and answered, a leader could go round in circle or put in good time to solve problems that are not well defined. As you begin to make wise enquiry in a bid to solve problems, may you find the right keys that will yield maximum impact in Jesus name.
