STICKING TO GOD'S MASTER PLAN

Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. – John 6:68

The surest way of reaching your goal is by sticking to God’s master plan for your life, regardless of the prevailing circumstances. When some people find themselves in reduced circumstances, they tend to cut corners and thereby squash God’s master plan to prosper their tomorrow. But anyone who is stuck on following God all the way, in the face of opposition, temptation and distraction, will of course be better off than those who act the other way round. If you will live up to God’s expectation for your life and resolve not to allow any gratification to stall the program of God for your life, you will certainly be well off in your pursuit.
When the fair weather followers of Jesus couldn’t come to terms with the in-depth truth which He preached while projecting Himself as the Bread of Life, they parted company with Him. Unknown to them, they foolishly denied themselves access to eternal life. They failed to get with the program of God for their lives and were unable to actualize God’s purpose for their lives. Hence, there are no appropriate course of action to adopt in sticking with God’s master plan for your life than to (1) SEE THE BIG PICTURE, so you don’t settle for less. Peter saw the big picture and acknowledged Christ as the Son of God. (2) STAY PUT to the big picture regardless of distraction and enticement that could cause you emotional leakages and disruption.
The devil is not out there to act in your best interest. So, his mission is to displace you from your divine heritage, if you fall for his tricks. So whenever the devil moves to shift your focus from God, you need to resolve to (3) STAY CONNECTED TO GOD, through the anchors of prayers and fellowship. This will help you to sail through obstacles that are mounted to put the brakes on your pursuit to reach your goal. As you choose to stick with God’s agenda for your life, may every plan to endanger your tomorrow be frustrated in Jesus name.
