The Lord Jesus did not mince
words when He said that He would return to gather His people off the face of
the earth into everlasting habitation in heaven. Hence, anyone who desires to be
counted among the few whom the Lord would take home should prepare for His
coming. You cannot live apart from the Scripture while you pursue pleasure and
vanities with vim and vigor and profess your readiness for Jesus’ coming. You
need to have a clear perspective about heaven with the understanding that it is
not a city of committee of friends  of every Tom, Dick and Harry. It is rather
the City of God, prepared to those whose robes are white, who are earnestly awaiting
the Saviour.
Clearly, we are in a
perilous time. This dispensation is the defining moment upon which the fate of
many would be determined. Apostle Paul provided perspective on the events that
will turn out when Christ shall come while stating that, “We shall not all die
but we shall all be changed (I Cor. 15:51)”. This was a message addressed to a
people approved of God, who are ready to gain access into everlasting life. However,
before you can experience a bodily transformation from a physical body to a
glorious body that will not decay, you need to examine yourself if you are a
candidate of heaven. If not, you need to embrace the offering of eternal life,
which is built on faith in the death of Jesus for your sins.
While the bodies of many
will be subjected to eternal and excruciating punishment and torture, on
account of their negligence, disobedience and rebellion to God, the bodies of
the saints of God will be transformed. The saints of God will all receive a
spiritual body which does not operate by human senses and cannot be afflicted
with the force and pressure of this world, because it is heavenly. You can’t
afford to be a spectator and a commentator while the saints of God are received
up into heaven in a spectacular way. Hence, I pray as you offer all you are to
God, may He find you worthy to reign with Him while He gives you a body that
will never suffer pains, sorrow, shame and affliction any more, in Jesus name
