THE COUNSEL OF PEACE

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. - Jeremiah 29:11

Today, you will experience the peace of God regardless of the raging storm blown to make you uneasy, in Jesus name. One of the divine benefits of being a part of God’s kingdom is the experience of peace. The peace of God comes with the assurance that you have no cause to fear. When the devil attempts to frighten you, the peace of God enforces your right to keep calm while the devil is raging to give you a nervous breakdown. The peace of God does not restrain the devil from fighting your rest but gives you the reason to see the restlessness of the devil as you hold your peace while God does the fight.

When the children of Israel were mixed up about God’s counsel for their lives while in Babylon, the word of the Lord came to them through prophet Jeremiah. God cleared up that He had good intentions for them; plans to make them enjoy His peace and attain a glorious destination. Though everything might seem stormy, just hold on to God, He will silence the voice and noise of war that has stolen your rest in Jesus name.

Hence, you can’t afford to allow the devil to flood your heart with fear about tomorrow. When you take your burdens to God in prayer, He gives you the peace that surpasses all understanding. But if you are careful about everything, you would be allowing the devil to gain the upper hand in the fight against your soul. Wise up today. Stop the mouth of those lions against your peace as you invoke the Lion of the Tribe of Judah to reduce them to silence. I pray God’s peace that exceeds all understanding flood your heart and make you high and dry in the times of adversity in Jesus name.
