Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked? says the Lord Yahweh; and not rather that he should return from his way, and live?  - Ezekiel 18:23
It brings displeasure to God when a sinner balks at the offer of salvation and ultimately dies in his sin. When a man dies without divine acknowledgement and testimony as a beloved of God, his death is not ceremonious before the throne of God. His death signifies LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY FOR DIVINE ENLISTMENT IN THE BOOK OF LIFE. The Bible says that whosoever name was not found written in the book of life shall be cast into the lake of fire. Inasmuch as you can't afford to be an occupant of hell, you need to delight the heart of the Lord by living for Him and by dissociating yourself from those who are bent to please the devil and gratify their flesh.
It is interesting and heartening to know that God wants all men to be saved, so they can become royal occupants of His kingdom. However, those who choose to live at variance with the principles of the scripture hold themselves out as enemies of God, thereby refusing to delight His heart. Because they choose to keep the Lord at arms length, they experience the excruciating LOSS OF DIVINE HERITAGE IN ETERNITY. Hence, if you desire that no man takes your crown, then delight the heart of your Maker, before it becomes too late, when death begins to knock at your door.
Those who choose to die in their sins wilfully make the immeasurable love of Christ for the salvation of their souls a cosmic waste. They become a LOSS ON GOD'S INVESTMENT FOR THEIR REDEMPTION. The question is, "Why do you want the blood of Jesus to waste away over your life?" If you live a life that runs counter to God's mandate for your life, know that God is unhappy, because He knows that if death rocks your boat and blows you off the earth, the devil's investment to manoeuvre you through deception and impairment of your eyes of understanding will pay off, which would keep you hapless and hopeless in eternal damnation. Don't die in your sin; Jesus is calling you today. May the precious blood of Jesus not waste away over your life as you answer Jesus call today in Jesus name.
