DON'T SETTLE FOR LESS

So Jacob served seven years for Rachel, and they seemed only a few days to him because of the love he had for her - Gen 29:20

Jacob was a man who was ready to go the extra mile to get what he desired. When he was deceived by his uncle as regards his marital choice, he refused to accept the deceptive package as his desired heritage. He desired Rachael for a wife but was offered Leah. Not minding what it will cost him to claim what he longed for, he willingly waited and served his uncle for extra years as required of him, till his desired choice was delivered to him.

Don't let the devil deceive you that you have already attained your desired destination while God is saying, "My child, this is the beginning of beginnings for you." There is a new level, new glory and new things yet untapped. Why hold fast to the old while the new is at hand! Elisha didn't just want the same measure of the anointing of Elijah: he rather desired a double portion.

Today, desire to go up. Pursue with perseverance what God had packaged for you. May you reach your desired destination and reap what your heart longs for in Jesus name
