Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross - Col 2:14
The Cross is not a symbol of shame but a picture of victory accomplished by Christ. Without the Cross, we are lost; we are guided on every path of life by it. When our lives would have been miserable, the Cross was raised to cheer our countenance and give us a lively hope.
Sorrow, pain and shame were nailed into the Cross so we could enjoy overflowing peace and joy in the Lord. Whenever you come to the Cross, the limitations of your life are erased to usher in a new beginning of joy and great glory. Therefore cling to the Cross; the old rugged Cross for a glorious experience of uncommon blessings. When the roads seem to be blocked, go to the Cross and you will find the path of life. May the wonders of the Cross bring you blessings unimaginable in Jesus name.
