Delight
yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. -
Ps 37:4
A man who delights himself in the Lord will dig deep to know Him as He is. This accounted for why Apostle Paul said, "That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection...” Delighting yourself in the Lord is denying yourself of worldly pleasure to gain Christ.
Delighting yourself in the Lord is about presenting and making yourself a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God.
A believer who delights himself in the Lord worships God in spirit and in truth. Because Paul delighted himself in the Lord, he counted all the things he went through as losses in passionate pursuit of the excellent knowledge of and fellowship with God.
Do you truly take delight in the Lord? Hunger and thirst for more of God today and every day. The more you delight yourself in Him, the more the light He sheds on your way. May your heart delight in the Lord all the days of your life in Jesus name.
