One of the virtues by which people could judge your sonship in the Kingdom is the presence or absence of peace in your life. You cannot be an agent of peace if your life is void of the spirit of gentleness. Peacemakers are Kingdom builders. They make use of the building blocks of peace and unity to create a habitable atmosphere. They pull down the middle wall of partition of hatred and erect a haven void of strife.
Peacemakers are true ambassadors of Christ. They are a true replica of the Prince of Peace. Their presence ushers in peace. They unify the minds and divergent views of people to achieve a common good. They are mindful of their choice of words in order not to lay a dangerous ground for bitterness and acrimony to thrive. Similarly, they have the vibe and impulse to put out the fire of division.
If you are not a peacemaker, what then are you? Don't stage a division but rather stand for peace. Have you identified hatred or division in a group or gathering? Be the agent or instrument of peace God would use to make peace to reign. May the Lord make you an instrument of peace to put out the fire of hatred in order for love to increase in Jesus name. May the electioneering process of Nigeria, our beloved nation, continue to be peaceful in Jesus name.
