THE KEY OF DAVID

"And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: He who is holy, who is true, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, and who shuts and no one opens, says this: - Rev 3:7

When it pleases the Lord to give a man a new beginning, He could desire to pay him a visit. A divine visitation comes with manifold blessings. It ushers in restoration and turnaround. In our Bible reading, we understand that Jesus has the Key of David. It is a covenant that unlocks the manifold goodness of God to His people.

Three (3) things happen whenever God desires to visit a man. (1) God KNOCKS at his door. Revelation 3:20 says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me. If you are not expectant, you will not have the faith to open your door to God, for the inflow of miracles into your life. So when He knocks gently and you refuse to open your door for a visitation, He goes next door.

(2) God LOCKS him out of every deposit of the devil in his life (be it sickness, sorrow, bareness and the likes). At the every moment you allow God into your habitation, He takes up His Master Key and locks you out of shame, fear, and sorrow and from everything causing depression in your life.  (3) Finally, God silences all his MOCKERS, by pouring out His overflowing blessings on him. When the sons of the prophet saw that Elisha had gotten the double portion of Elijah’s anointing, all of them were held in silence and they saluted Elisha as he walks on the red carpet of honour. Before the end of this year, God will visit you, lock you out of reproach and silence all your mockers in Jesus name.
