THE TRIAL OF OUR FAITH

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ - I Peter 1:7

Unpleasant events in the life of a believer does not call for a contest with God but opens up the pathway for a closer walk with Him.

Trials appear punitive, as it may seem to you that God is unfair when your life is being punched almost to death. However,  they are experiences used by God to examine the genuineness of our stand with Him. Though trials are not enjoyable but are meant to be endured as a good soldier of Christ. If your definition of Christianity is bread and butter, you are yet to begin a rewarding walk with God.

God doesn't hide His children from trials, but empowers them with strength to triumph over them. Ask Job!

If you disembark from walking with God because of trials and afflictions, the devil will embrace you swiftly and joyously as his next captive. If you are experiencing a delay, disappointment, depression, discouragement, don't accept defeat but stand on your feet, following Jesus. May your heart be strengthened not to fail in the days of adversity in Jesus name.
