GREAT EXPECTATION

If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my hard service I will wait, till my change comes. - Job 14:14

God knows the expectations and yearnings of every of His children. Your desires are plain before Him. Before you begin to pray, you need to have identified your expectations from your communion with God. That’s why the Bible says, “He that comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a Rewarder of those that diligently seek Him” (Heb 11:6)

The complexity of a believer’s challenges would influence the magnitude of his expectations. More importantly, your perception of God determines what you think of His ability to meet your needs. When your perception of God is beyond the magnitude of your challenges, your expectation will never be dashed.

Great expectation activates your faith and quickens your body, soul and spirit for the change your desire. It strengthens your confidence in the power and potency of God to work out the miraculous for you.

Job desired a change from God and chose to wait for his appointed time. Great expectations don’t deflate your confidence in God; it rather keeps you from accepting defeat and disappointment as the final outcome to your heart desires. The good news I have for you is that your long-desired change has come. Enter into your season of rest. Your expectation, no matter how great they are, will be granted to you amazingly, in Jesus name.
