The Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, “How long shall I bear with this evil congregation who are grumbling against Me? Num. 14:26-27
Nagging about every situation in life doesn’t nail the problem but would rather derail you from getting it solved. Wise people don’t nag about every situation but will rather seek to nail it through the application of wisdom, which earns them a good reputation.
You cannot be a good team player if what you see and magnify in every task is the problem and not the solution. A spouse that doesn’t appreciate the little spices in his or her marital space may resort to complaint. Nagging gives you the option to widen the gap of discord and bitterness between you and your partner or team members.
The elders of Israel who were meant to partner with Moses rebelled against him. They nagged without ceasing about leadership and authority of Moses, which made them victims of God’s wrath. Instead of complaining about the loss he and his companions suffered, David rather encouraged himself in the Lord. If you can stop nagging, you will start tapping from the bliss of harmony, favour and friendship with people around you. May you never endanger your relationship with your destiny- helpers through a life of nagging in Jesus name.
