What sits in your mind can either sink your life or stir your life on the right path. The Psalmist says, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” He had enriched his mind with the word of God, so journeying amiss becomes impossible. If your heart is enlightened with the word of God, it will be impossible for you to live a wayward life.
Instead of enriching their minds, many Christians pollute their minds with what they read. When you read junks, you cannot live the mountaintop life but a life in the jungle. What you feed your mind with determines what it becomes a goldmine for extracting treasures or a gutter for dumping rubbish.
Enriching your mind guides and protects it from parasitic and ungodly deposit. An enriched mind does not negotiate and associate with the devil; it rather meditates on everything virtuous, praise-worthy, holy and pure. The easiest and fastest way of enriching your mind is to make it a repository and reservoir of the word of God. May your mind be renewed, refreshed and enriched with the word of life in Jesus name.
