...for we are the temple of the living God; even as God said, I will dwell in and with and among them and will walk in and with and among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.' - II Cor 6:16
God doesn't live in a house made with hands. No human architectural design is complex enough to influence God to opt for a building that is built based on such design. God cannot be overwhelmed by the artistic and intellectual capacity of man in erecting the best of structures. God may decide to register His presence in a godly worship centre or atmosphere but doesn't take residence in it; one of the reasons being that His circumference cannot be measured.
It rather pleased God to make man His dwelling place. God sits on His heavenly throne but makes man His place of settlement for fellowship and communion. This explains why the Bible says that, '...your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.' God delights in you and is desirous to pitch His tabernacle in you.
When God pitches His tabernacle in you, you will live above obstacle and your life will be a life of miracles and every horrible thing the devil may want to dump into your life will not find space for lodgment. However, if you are not a clean vessel, don't expect God to sail in your boat. And if God is not in your boat, when the wind begins to blow, your boat will not float above the sea of life but will rather sink beneath and get overwhelmed. Therefore, I pray God find you as a worthy building in which He shall delight to reside in, in Jesus name.
