“The Lord is a Man of War; the Lord is His name.” – Exodus 15:3
Battles are not meant to belittle and mock your spiritual potency but are meant to unveil your kingdom identity as a formidable champion and conqueror. Every kingdom champion doesn’t fret and display a diffident appearance in the face of battles but remains confident because he understands that he is more than a conqueror in Christ.
However, when the crises in your life appear to be beyond your spiritual muscles, it reveals that you need the attention of Christ, the Anointed One, to level down the many mountains you are confronted with. Aside from equipping you to fight the good fight of faith, the Lord of Host, being the Grand Commander of the Armies of the Living, doesn’t fold His hands when your battles seems to be overwhelming. When your opposition becomes too strong for you to tame, God appears on your behalf as the Mighty Redeemer.
When King Saul pursued hard after David to kill him, David knew that it was a tough battle that is beyond his ability. David desired to ascend to the throne in accordance with the divine purpose of God and without being held as the murderer of King Saul. So when he had the unrestrained access to kill the king, he spared him. In all these, King Saul was adamant and hell-bent on seeing the end of David. He vehemently resolved to frustrate the divine purpose of God for David to succeed him as the next king over Israel, knowing that he (Saul) had been rejected by God as a rebellious and disobedient king.
In the end, God fought for David and his several years of unrest, while maintaining a great distance from King Saul, was brought to an end. I don’t know the battle in your life. But because God is the Jehovah Man of God, every battle inflicting unrest into your soul shall be silenced as God sentences your enemies to the grave of no return in Jesus name. Amen
