THE TREE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

“…that they may be called the tree of righteousness, the planting of the Lord…” – Isaiah 61:3

God is the Wisest and Greatest Husbandman both in history and in eternity. He never plants His seeds in vain. For every seed that God plants, He waters, nurtures and ultimately harvests for His pleasure. Do you know that your life began as a seed that was conceived and planted by God? Your spiritual background, through which you are journeying to maturity, is rooted in your new birth in Christ Jesus. A man who doesn’t have a spiritual identity traceable to new birth in Christ Jesus is a creature with misplaced loyalty to the overwhelming influence of the world.

The beauty of your life is better comprehended in your attainment to a tree of righteousness. The righteousness of the believer makes him a kingdom celebrity in heaven and gives him divine identity that makes the devil to tremble here on earth. Having being made the planting of the Lord, God pants for your spiritual maturity and attainment to the full image and nature of Christ. Many got planted by the Lord and nurtured by the word of His grace but allowed themselves to be transplanted by the devil into his domain, in pursuit of temporal and destructive pleasure, fame, sorrow-inflicting prosperity.

It pays to grow up to the desired height of righteousness and holiness which God had conceived before your conception. It is profitable to grow up to becoming the tree of righteousness, bearing fruit and standing firm in the face of persecution, affliction and temptation. If your root in Christ is weak due to spiritual malnutrition and deficiency in growing up into God’s image, the devil will get you blown off out of God’s Kingdom. Therefore be steadfast and stand firm as God’s tree of righteousness. May you remain God’s tree of righteousness that is harvestable and rapturable into God’s eternity abode in heaven. Amen.
