God didn't promise us a persecution-free pilgrimage but guarantees our victory over everything that could separate us from His love. Because God knows that we will be confronted with challenges, therefore He made immense provision for our comfort.
Comfort is the oil that relaxes the friction in our heart in the time of affliction. God. It is the divine message spoken through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to massage off our pains and move us from the valley of sorrow to the mountain-top of joy.
Human comfort is good but may lack the wordings of God's instructional manual. The chief comfort you can ever receive is the comfort of the Scripture, which is spoken to unscrew your attachment with sorrow. Job had the knowledge of the Scripture. This made him to acknowledge that his Redeemer lives. Therefore, be strong in the Lord and let not your heart be troubled, because God will arise for you and give you victory in Jesus name.
