For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he… - Prov. 23:7
What you think about determines what sinks into your heart. For you to think positively, you must be willing and ready to sieve out every negative information or suggestion that can impede you from engaging your mind productively and profitably. Until you close the entry path of doubt to your life, you will never discover how far you can go in life.
Apostle Peter saw an opportunity to walk in the supernatural. He saw the Master, Jesus, walking on the sea. Out of the twelve potential world changers in the company of Jesus, Peter chose to distinguish himself and make an indelible mark. He strengthened his heart and launched himself into a seemingly difficult task. Peter wasn’t mindful of the perception of his colleagues who were with him on the transit. He proceeded to join the Master in walking on the sea because he shut his ears to his doubt.
Thinking positively enables you to:
(1) Block the gateway of doubt. Doubt cripples a man’s decision to reach for the stars. But when you think positively and see possibilities, you will be able to surmount every doubt that may want to obstruct your attainment of greatness
(2) Build confidence. Apostle Paul believed that he can do all things through Christ. Until you believe in the Lord and in yourself acknowledging that God has bestowed on you a sound mind, you will be engrossed with fear of the unknown. As you step out today, be courageous and put up a bold front, because you are more than a conqueror.
(3) Break new grounds. You cannot gain mastery of what you fail to attempt. Peter chose to attempt walking on water to meet the Lord. He actually did and became the only Apostle who walked on water. Don’t allow the spirit of fear to undermine your ability to do exploit.
For you to reach your desired goal in life, keep thinking positively and you will never cease to experience breakthroughs and record great accomplishment. May the Lord stir your heart and align it with His, in the direction to accomplish and do exploits in Jesus name.
