As each of you has received a gift (a particular spiritual talent, a gracious divine endowment), employ it for one another as (befits) good trustees of God’s manifold-sided grace… - I Peter 4:9
You were not born to enrich the grave but to satisfy the groaning of the people that are waiting for your manifestation. Therefore, it is an error under the sun to hide the potential and talent which God has deposited in you for the enrichment, edification and nourishment of mankind.
It goes without saying that you will be doing yourself a mischief if you hide your God-given talent while the world in engrossed with darkness and is in dire need of people with talent that can enlighten and rebirth their hopes. God wants you to be on the front-line of achievers that are first point of call in proffering solutions, dispensing quality service to their societies and impacting lives positively. These speak to God’s rationale (among others) for creating you fearfully, wonderfully and creatively. Adam was so intelligent and creative such that he assigned names to all the animals that were created by the Living God without error and memory failure.
You are not created a dummy or as an ignoramus. You are the trustee of the talent deposited by the Living God on your inside. You need to take ownership of God’s endowment in your life because you are accountable to Him. Don’t be like the foolish servant who hid his talent while others traded profitably with theirs. Remember that there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave (Eccl. 9:10). So whatsoever your hands finds to do, do it with all your might. Therefore, as a trustee of God’s talent, ensure that you:
1. Stir and sharpen your talent and skills
2. Saturate yourself with people that will help you nurture your potential to its maximum
3. Sow the seed of impact and solutions which the world is earnestly thirsty for
4. Stay connected to God for continuous inspiration and grace to keep moving forward
May you not become a talent-waster but rather a personality on the front-page of the news on account of your impactful living and judicious use of your talent in Jesus name.
