VESSEL UNTO HONOUR

Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honour, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared unto good work – II Tim. 2:21

Any priceless vessel isn’t two a penny. Hence, it is not found in remote places or in refuse site. A vessel unto honour is treated with dignity and utilised in ministering to prominent personality. By default, God created man as a peculiar creature with a priceless soul, to bring honour to His majestic power and name.

It was exceptionally honourable for Adam and Eve to dine with God while they had not yielded to temptation. But due to disobedience, man lost his dignity and status of honour. However, through the blood of Christ, we were redeemed and restored back to God as a chosen generation, a holy nation and as a peculiar people who are called to magnify God.

It takes a vessel that is redeemed and sanctified by God to give glory, honour, and praise to God. A vessel that is not a repository of the treasure of God cannot bring pleasure to God through either sacrificial giving or living. However, for you to be endowed with the riches of Christ, you must surrender yourself to God as a spiritual fish that is harvested to dish out praises, glory and honour to God. I pray, may you be found fit to dish out pleasing and sweet-smiling sacrifice to God in Jesus name.
