Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance … by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God– Phil. 4:6
Petition without the outpour of adoration to God is an incomplete prayer. Constant petitioning of heaven without a corresponding appreciation of the King of Heaven is a display of ignorance, ingratitude, self-interest and disrespect towards God.
A man who loves God understands that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Therefore, he showers God with praises and in turn gets overflowing showers of blessings. Worshipping God has four-dimensional attributes:
(1) It is the WILL of God in Christ Jesus. That means no complainer can delight the heart of God – I Thess. 5:18
(2) It is the supernatural WEAPON of warfare, which stirs God to arise and cause your enemies to scatter – Ps. 68:1
(3) It is the WAY of life of true worshippers, who are passionate to constantly express gratitude to God – John 4:23
(4) It is the GATEWAY for provoking supernatural blessings – Ps 67:6
May the Lord accept your thanks and praises as you appear before Him today. May He cause your earth to bring forth her increase and spring forth harvest of miracles for you in Jesus name.
