STRIDING TOWARDS EXCELLENCE

I press on toward the goal to win the supreme and heavenly prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward – Phil. 3:14

Purpose-driven achievers don’t settle for less or choose to come short of reaching their goals. As you progress in your pursuit of success, opportunities abound for you to shape up and attain a more excellent height. You cannot set the world on fire if you are not flaming with the desire to attain an excellent height. You need to have a strident desire to scale higher and higher.

Inasmuch as you desire to stride towards excellence, you must be willing to pay the price. You need to get religion about what you do. Of course, you need to keep your eyes on the ball and screw up your courage to press forward. You shouldn’t allow anything to put you off the trail or drive you to distraction, if you are keen about achieving excellent results.

Apostle Paul was noted for his unparalleled commitment to the pursuit of the kingdom of God. He said, “I pressed towards the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus”. In spite of the fiery opposition that he grappled with in his missionary journey, he continued to press towards the finishing line. In the end, he finished strong and came through with flying colours. Therefore, I pray God give you the strength to hit your stride and attain to the dizzy heights of excellence in Jesus name.
