CAST ALL YOUR CARES UPON THE LORD

Casting the whole of your care on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully -  1 Peter 5:7

Casting all your cares upon the Lord is akin to certifying God to become the Chief Custodian of your life. When you allow God to oversee your life without doubting His superintendence and majestic power to see you through, you will certainly not be disappointed. Because many pin their faith on the arm of flesh, they end up counting their losses, reaping the harvest of shame instead of becoming overwhelmed with pleasant surprises.

Trusting in the Lord helps you to move your burdens and cares away from your heart into God’s hands. When this happens, it will enable your heart to focus on Jesus and not to endanger it with worries that gets you nowhere. Because some believers stuff their hearts burdens, they become heavy and weighty with dampening thoughts and imaginations that make them to sink into despair.

Abraham could have allowed his worries and cares to dampen his spirit. In lieu of that, he became persuaded about the promise of God and didn’t swagger through unbelief. In demonstrating his faith in God, he decided to swing into praising God in advance, believing that God’s promise will come to pass. Are you troubled, doubting what God has promised you? Just hold on to His hands. When you leave everything on His watch, your hope will never be dashed. May your confidence not be eroded through unbelief so you could reap the harvest of pleasant surprises in Jesus name. Amen.
