STRIVE AGAINST A FALL

In your pursuit to reach your goal, you may have to square up to the opposition on the way. You need to bear in mind that opposition exists in different shades. However, you shouldn’t allow yourself to be overwhelmed by the opposing forces that may want to discourage you from pushing through. If you allow opposition to slow you down, you may end up opting out of your chase towards your desired destination.

Nehemiah and his team were sold out to the cause of rebuilding the broken walls and burnt gates of Jerusalem. They were fired with expectations and high hopes to get the project to the end of the road. In the course of pushing through the project, they were confronted with oppositions, who were dead set against their mission. This reveals that in pursuing your dreams, you should be prepared to stand up against mischievous and disgruntled people who are not delighted in your rise to stardom.

Instead of allowing the opposing forces to frustrate their mission, Nehemiah and his team put up a brave front and became much more vigilant. They chose to bear up against their critics. Every attempt to make them fall apart and become a laughingstock fell through. Nehemiah remained unmovable and strove against all odds to make him a failure. What are the challenges you have to grapple with? Be resolved to win through with the strength that Christ provides. Remain unstoppable and you will end up with all the marbles. May you not lose your drive and zeal to experience a flourishing accomplishment of your goals in the face of all oppositions in Jesus name
