IS YOUR TALENT GATHERING DUST?

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is upon me, for the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. – Isaiah 61:1

God is the wisest Investor who does not expect a loss on whatsoever He sinks into a project. Do you know that you are a divine project in God’s hands? As part of His plan to activate you as a project of exceptional value, He breathe into you the breath of life and spoke His word of life into your spirit being. Because God doesn’t talk like a nut, the word that proceeds out of out His mouth never return to Him void. So, by His divine utterance, God has endowed you with blessings, gifts and talents, which you mustn’t allow to gather dust. If you despise your talents and hide your light under a bushel, you will be keeping your generation in the dark while you have been made a light to your world.

You need to get religion about fulfilling the purpose of God for your life. God has not endowed you with talents for your inner-beauty but for you to reach out to the world as God’s masterpiece. Your talents pave the way for you to emerge as a world-changer and a destiny-molder. This will be unaccomplished if you are not fired with passion to stir up the gift or talents of God in you. Don’t be deceived that you are a nonentity. Know that your life doesn’t answer to the description of a failed project. Rather, you are a divine project with a promising future which the whole wide world is waiting for to take the stage.

Aside from your talent, God has given you the horsepower which will enable you to get into your stride and be on the move to lighten your world. Regardless of your background, race or tribe, you can usher in hope where despair thrives and put lasting smiles on the face of people, inasmuch as you are divinely starred as God’s ambassador. Therefore, don’t allow your talents to gather dust. You will be better off than you could imagine if you make God’s investment in your life to count. May the light of God in you bring joy and hope into the hearts of many and rescue them from the dampening effect of oppression, depression and darkness in Jesus name.
